The focus of The Grand Krewe of Luxor is our Fundraising efforts each year for our three chosen Memphis Childrens’ Charities.

While we also enjoy that Carnival Memphis allows us to “Party With a Purpose”, we are aware how important that Purpose is and are dedicated to helping achieve our goal.

Charitable/Volunteer Works Committee

The Carnival Memphis Children’s Charity Initiative (CCI) was developed in 1999 to assist those who improve the quality of life for children throughout the community. Each year different agencies are selected to receive funds raised by Carnival and the Grand Krewes of Carnival Memphis at fundraisers throughout the year. Since the inception of the CCI (a 501c3 non-profit), over $2,500,000 with matching funds has been donated to local children’s charities.  We are excited to announce the 2018 Carnival Children’s Charities: Agape Child & Family Services, Inc., Emmanuel Center and Memphis Athletic Ministries.
